Teamwork, responsibility and commitment are key attributes in all employees at Scorpion Mouldings. All members of staff contribute fully, and without the full team’s commitment Scorpion would not be able to provide the comprehensive service and reliable and successful performance that our customer’s expect today.
Today, only a small, motivated firm with a highly qualified work force and good vertical mobility, instead of an oppressive hierarchy, can hold up in a world whose principal characteristic is instability.

Following is a brief resume of some of the customer-facing personnel.
Simon Whitham (Managing Director)
Previous to joining the family firm Simon worked in engineering and projects for one of the UK's largest engineering plastic companies supplying the automotive business. He has engineering and management (MBA) degrees.

Shaun Dempsey (Operations Manager)
Shaun is responsible for the entire technical development phase giving continuity from initial quality planning, through first-off sampling to full production parts. Having spent over 25 years in the plastics injection moulding industry, overseeing production and quality functions, Shaun brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and practicality to this role.

Leigh Spacey (Engineering Manager)
Leigh is responsible for all on-site engineering aspects of the business. Leigh first joined Scorpion Mouldings over 15 years ago as a young maintenance engineer, and after a short period spent in other areas within the industry, returned to Scorpion on the engineering side. Leigh ensures that the site, the plant and all the services and handling equipment is up to date and operating efficiently. He also has responsibility further developing the engineering side of the business.

Neil Whitham (Chairman & Founder)
After running plastic raw material and blow moulding plants for large, nationally known organisations, Neil saw an opportunity for a more efficient customer-based service leading to the start up of Scorpion Mouldings. He has been the inspiration and driving force behind the firm since then and established the solid working practices that ensure efficiency and quality are maintained.
