Scorpion Mouldings, located centrally in the UK, is a leading manufacturer of technical plastic injection moulded components, and is supported by it's own toolmaking facilty able to manufacture and develop high quality mould tools. This allows us to reliably supply moulded product to quality standard ISO 9001/TS 16949.

Exceptional Service

When Scorpion started the aim was to provide excellent service to the customer from a well trained, well motivated and well focused workforce. The objective is achieved today through team spirit with mutual trust and support. In addition to training in the technology and operating procedures of all aspects of Scorpion's business, it is considered important that full knowledge of the customer's requirements and the industry is available to all employees. This leads to a sense of belonging and commercial awareness within the company. The lack of bureaucracy and petty politics means that decisions can be made quickly and efficiently. Scorpion provides a technical service comparable to any small moulder in the country and apply stringent quality control procedures to ensure the final product meets customers expectations.

Scorpion was established in 1971 and is still an independent family business. The company started in an old aircrew restroom on Podington Aerodrome near Bedford with 2 small Arburg injection moulding machines. It was not long before these premises proved inadequate and in 1974, at the time of the miners' strike and the three day working week, the business moved to the village of Turvey, and twice subsequently to our current premises in the market town of Olney.
