Scorpion was established in 1971 and is still an independent family business. The company started in an old aircrew restroom on Podington Aerodrome near Bedford with 2 small Arburg plastic injection moulding machines. It was not long before these premises proved inadequate and in 1974, at the time of the miners' strike and the three day working week, the business moved to the village of Turvey, and twice subsequently to our current premises in the market town of Olney.
